My name is Matthew Patrick Winfrey. You can call me Pastor Patrick. I have been a Pastor since January, 2001, when I started as an associate pastor in an evangelical church. In 2002, the Lord led me to planting 3 Filipino churches in the Triad region of North Carolina, and graduating from Global University in Springfield, MO in 2005, with a BA in Missions. I moved as a long term missionary to the Philippines, in August, 2007, after 3 years of short term missions.
Things had been difficult here, with little progress and much heart ache; until, my step son Joshua died of Dengue Fever August 25, 2012. After this tragedy, the Lord answered my cries of REVIVAL of 5 years for the Philippines. Within 3 days of Joshua’s death, the Lord began to show me His will, and giving me the name Joshua’s Ministry. Built on Isaiah 11:6 and a little child shall lead them, and Matthew 19:14, Suffer the Little Children to come unto me, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for such is the kingdom of heaven. By His grace, I will take this Ministry to the whole World!
Joshua’s Ministry is called by the Lord, to teach the children the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and then for them to lead their families into the promised land of the Kingdom of our Lord. That heavenly home, where we will forever be with the Lord, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. My wife Jessa and I; along with a team of several pastors and families, are here on the ground, forcefully, and by faith, advancing the Kingdom for our Lord.
Join us in this battle; to overcome evil with good, here in this never-before-conquered-land, for the Lord! Help me turn the night into day for 1000’s of Filipinos. Together, we can bring in the harvest!
As of May, 2016, we now have 3 orphanages, and feed about 1000 kids every week at our teachings in the squatter areas of Davao Occidental.
